A Phoenix Graduation

Our family takes a lot of car trips, but it is pretty rare that we all fly somewhere together.  In fact I think the last time might have been when we went to Europe in 2002…  We all headed to Phoenix for some super hot weather (it topped 115 degrees some days!) and the graduation of my brother’s fiance from a Sports Medicine PhD program.

Our trip started with a beautiful of Mount Rainier on the flight, a visit to the Phoenix Art Museum and seeing a super colorful sunset!

Graduation day transported us to downtown Phoenix  for the ceremony for A.T. Still University!

Who has the best brothers in the world?  Me.  Because they humor me and take “popping out of random plant” pictures with me…even in blistering hot weather.  Here are some of my favorites (I couldn’t resist a solo picture of me with the metal bug statue)!

We celebrated with some Greek food out and a cake!  Spelling out “GRAD” with chocolate covered caramels was the idea of yours truly!  Thanks, Phoenix, for a great first day!
