I was home just long enough to get in another rafting trip down the Skykomish! My friend and I had signed up for the main part of the river, but the water levels were too high to do so. Instead, we did two trips down the upper part of the river. Even though we had been on this section, there was a layer of fog on the river and how quick the water was moving made it seem much different than our last trip. The water was super cold because of the glacial melt, but we still had a great time. We even got our own raft for the first run...we are just that good at paddling.
The best part? We are coming back in a couple weeks for a trip on the main part of the river for free! :)
